1924 First World Flight at Mercy Magnuson Place

FREE and open to the public Monday through Friday, 9-5pm
Enter through Mercy's main east entrance and take stairs up.

BUILDING 41 OUTDOOR AVIATION MURALS

A set of 11 murals featuring aircraft that flew from Sand Point (1920-1970).
Designed by SPACE artist Sandy Bricel Miller and painted by local and Magnuson Park resident youth in 2021.

A CENTER FOR ALL

In honor of the Magnuson Park Community Center renovation and reopening in July 2023, we explored the role that this building played in the morale, recreation and welfare of servicemen and women of color through the years.
